I’ve been meaning to blog about copywriting for quite a while. But, I’ve been too busy copywriting lately to write about writing. Sunday morning, however, finds me flipping channels between E! and a couple of boring NFL games – and thus, the time to post to my newest blog, “Can’t Find the Words?” is found.
As with all blogs, this blog is a work in progress. I’m not entirely sure where it will lead, but I would like for it to perform a number of functions. My primary purpose is to support copywriting in general. There are lots of reasons to hire a professional when in need of words, and I hope to provide several convincing arguments for working with a qualified writer.
Of course, I also hope to demonstrate why I am that qualified writer, which is goal number two – a little shameless self-promotion. But, the idea is that my words will speak for themselves. No cheesy call-outs or ridiculous promises, just quality writing.
Eventually, I would like for this to evolve into a resource for all things copy for anyone interested, be they fellow copywriters or prospective clients. In short, if I can share some information about what I do and how I do it, in the hopes that someone else will find it useful, that is the goal.
I am totally indebted to all the creative talent who have inspired me and shown me the way – now, it’s my turn to pass along what little I can.
